Pandora offers a stunning collection of jewellery with countless styling opportunities. Designed with you in mind, you can combine pieces to create a unique look that expresses your personal style and unforgettable moments. We take pride in our jewellery collection, which is why each piece is hand-finished and crafted from an assortment of quality stones and metals, including sterling silver, Pandora Rose, Pandora Shine and 14ct gold. In order to ensure that your jewellery will last for many years, it is important to ensure it receives the correct maintenance and care.

We recommend that your jewellery is the last thing you put on before leaving home and the first thing you take off when returning. It's always best to undo the clasp to put on and take off your bracelet or bangle.

To ensure your jewellery doesn’t oxidise or become permanently damaged, avoid contact with make-up, creams, perfumes and strong chemicals. Jewellery should also not be worn while swimming, bathing, sleeping or during sporting activities.

Cultured freshwater pearls should not be exposed to water and cleaning agents and should only be cleaned with a soft toothbrush or cloth. You may wish to replace worn pearl dangles (coloured or natural) as required. Avoid exposure to detergents or chemicals. Hair spray, perfumes, chemicals and soaps can damage and/or discolour your pearls.

Jewellery should be stored in a tarnish-resistant jewellery box or pouch and kept away from abrasive surfaces or exposure to harsh chemicals. It can also be stored in a plastic zip lock bag made from Mylar or polyethylene. Never use polyvinyl plastic bags, such as garbage bags, as they contain sulfur compounds, or rubber containers, as these will make jewellery tarnish and can turn silver black.

Freshwater and cultured pearls and leather should be stored away from direct sunlight or strong lighting to prevent fading.

The white Pandora gift boxes are not made for long-term storage, as they are not airtight.

To clean your jewellery, use warm soapy water and a soft toothbrush to gently wash it. Dry your jewellery with a microfibre towel and polish with a soft polishing cloth. Avoid using silver dips, polishing liquid and strong chemicals.

Most Pandora Concept stores offer complimentary cleaning for all Pandora jewellery. The Pandora Jewellery Care Kit is also available to keep your jewellery sparkling.

Due to the delicate nature of Pandora Rose and Pandora Shine, we recommend avoiding contact with harsh chemicals. It's best to store these pieces in an airtight jewellery box away from direct sunlight.

You can clean your Pandora Rose and Pandora Shine jewellery by soaking them in warm soapy water (washing detergent works best) and gently scrubbing them with a soft toothbrush. You can then use a Pandora polishing cloth to restore its sparkle.

We recommend against cleaning your Pandora Rose and Pandora Shine jewellery in an ultrasonic cleaner or the use of silver dips.

It is recommended that your jewellery be inspected by a jeweller annually to ensure that it is in good condition. In particular, it is important that clasps, mounts and soldering are checked.

The classic Pandora Moments bracelet may stretch over time, as weight (e.g. charms) is placed on the bracelet. The chain, commonly called a snake-chain, is crafted from small rings that are twisted very tightly into the chain. When buying a new bracelet, we recommend that there is no more than 1 to 2cm between your wrist and the bracelet. This will ensure that the bracelet still fits when it has stretched and been filled with charms.

It is natural for oxidation to disappear over time, however we cannot place a timeframe on this as it depends how the jewellery is treated. Perspiration, chlorine, perfumes, cleaning agents and silver polish can cause oxidation to fade. Oxidised jewellery doesn’t benefit from being dipped in silver polishing liquid, as this will strip the jewellery of the oxidation. Oxidation that fades is considered normal wear and tear and is not a defect.

Pearls and mother of pearl should not come into contact with silver polish. We also recommend they avoid exposure to make-up, creams, perfumes, chemicals and cleaning agents.

All enamel is Italian made without glass, making it more durable. To ensure the enamel lasts, we recommend avoiding contact with abrasive surfaces. It is also advised that enamel jewellery be stored away from direct sunlight to avoid fading. To clean enamel, use warm soapy water and a soft toothbrush.

Leather is a natural product that will benefit from careful protection. We recommend not wearing in water and avoiding exposure to liquids that may cause discoloration. As leather is a natural product, there may be variations in colour. The shade of the leather may also change over time due to oils in the skin and the addition of charms.

It is recommended that no more than 7 charms be placed on a leather bracelet. When adding charms to new leather bracelets, ensure that the bracelet is held steady and twist or slide the charm onto the bracelet. Be careful not to twist the leather part of the bracelet, as this may damage the leather. Leather can stretch over time, this is not a defect.

To clean Murano Glass charms, use lukewarm water and a mild liquid soap. Rinse and dry with a soft cloth. If the glass becomes dull, simply rub in a drop of mineral oil with a soft lint-free cloth and then wipe gently with a clean cloth. Polishing cloths containing chemicals can only be used on the metal. Do not use ultrasonic cleaners or silver dip.

Fabric jewellery is made from synthetic fibres, which may be discoloured when submerged in water, stored in direct sunlight or if it has come into contact with strong chemicals.
