What is a carat weight?

A diamond's carat number refers, quite simply, to its weight. A carat itself is a metric measurement, equivalent to 200 milligrams. But diamonds are often measured in one hundreths of a carat – each one of these is known as a "point." In the Pandora Brilliance range, we offer diamonds in 0.15, 0.25, 0.50, 0.75 and 1.00 carat weights. The most important thing to know is: the higher the number is, the bigger the diamond.

- Make sure to remove your jewelry before showering, swimming or sleeping to prevent damage. Remember that exposure to cosmetics and other chemicals may cause tarnishing.

- Keeping your jewelry dry and dust-free will help maintain it’s shine. It is also a good idea to separate different pieces of jewelry from one another to prevent scratches.
