Vogue x Pandora presents Mother's Day with Jerry & Georgia

With Mother's Day around the corner, we caught up with Pandora Muse Georgia May Jagger and her supermodel mum Jerry Hall to talk motherhood, self-expression and how jewellery can represent your mother-daughter bond.

What’s the most valuable lesson you’ve learnt from your mother?

That life has its ups and downs and different chapters. You have to roll with the punches, make hay while the sun shines and always see your glass as half full and not half empty.

Georgia May Jagger

“I think it’s so lovely to remember special moments with gifting charms. It’s something very personal to mark an occasion.”

Georgia May Jagger

What is your favourite piece from the new Mother’s Day collection, and why?

I love the Infinity knot bracelet. It’s so beautiful yet simple, and me and my mother both wear them, so it reminds me of her.

What is your favourite piece of jewellery that you own?

I love seeing my jewellery passed on to my daughters. I have some pieces from my mother – it’s such a special thing. Pieces have such a sentimental value. For one Mother’s Day, Georgia gave me some rose gold-toned jewellery from Pandora, and it’s still so special to me every time I wear it.

Jerry Hall

“Once I had children, I appreciated my mother so much… Motherhood makes me feel proud and see the interconnectedness of the world.”

Jerry Hall

How has your mother influenced how you express yourself?

She is fearlessly herself at all times and doesn’t follow everyone else, especially when it comes to her style. She thinks you should express yourself in whatever way you want and not care what other people think.
