Care for your Pandora

Use the Pandora Care Kit to clean your Pandora jewellery. Care instructions are included in the kit but if in doubt, seek professional advice from your nearest Pandora store or a local jeweller prior to cleaning.

General instructions

Polish frequently with a soft polishing cloth to maintain the jewellery’s sparkle. You can use the polishing cloth in the Pandora Care Kit to maintain your jewellery’s appearance. A polishing cloth won’t remove scratches, so it’s important to protect your jewellery as detailed below.

Keep freshwater cultured pearls and leather away from direct sunlight or strong lighting to prevent fading.

Handle jewellery with care

Be extra careful with pearls, Murano glass charms and charms made entirely from stone set on a metal core. Avoid dropping them on the floor or knocking them against hard surfaces as this could damage them.

High and dry

Remove jewellery prior to swimming, bathing and other sporting/physical activities and limit contact with make-up, creams, perfume and lotions.

Damaging ability to grip

The hidden silicone grips on some of our clip charm designs help to keep them locked in perfect position on a bracelet. Exposure to cleaning dips and chemicals or fluctuations in temperature may damage their ability to grip.

What should be avoided?

Avoid silver dips, polishing liquids and strong chemicals.

Quick care tips

Make your jewellery the last thing you put on in the morning and the first thing you take off at night. Book your jewellery in for an annual service check with a professional goldsmith to ensure the clasps, mountings and soldered details are secure.

Allergic reactions

Pandora jewellery is made from high-quality materials including sterling silver, 14k gold and our unique metal blends plated with 14k rose gold and 14k gold. Without added nickel in our silver and gold alloys, our customers seldom experience allergic reactions. However naturally occurring trace amounts of nickel may be present in some pieces. The measure of such is so low that only people who are hypersensitive to nickel may react to them.
